The Republican People's Party (CHP) has launched a signature campaign to support the detained Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and demand early elections.

The campaign is being conducted through the website ‘Benimimzam.net’. The CHP has invited citizens to participate in the campaign via their social media accounts.

The campaign aims to gather broad support for İmamoğlu’s freedom and the demand for early elections. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel emphasized the importance of this campaign.

Following İmamoğlu’s arrest, support campaigns have also been initiated abroad. In Munich, Turkish citizens set up booths to participate in the campaign.

The campaign has received significant support both domestically and internationally. The CHP aims for 28 million signatures and has already surpassed 13 million.

İmamoğlu has highlighted the importance of the campaign and called for support. Everyone is expected to participate in this democratic call.
