The return of Syrians to their homeland is gaining momentum!

According to the data from the Directorate General of Migration, since December 8, 2024, 411,649 Syrians have voluntarily returned to their country. These returns have accelerated with the improvement of the security and stability situation in Syria.

The number of Syrians under temporary protection in Turkey is recorded as 2,543,711. The return process is planned in a manner that respects human dignity, and all procedures are carried out in accordance with official protocols.

The Voluntary Return Coordination Center in Arnavutköy, Istanbul, offers Syrians the opportunity to complete all their procedures in one place. Families are directed to border gates by bus after completing their procedures.

Return procedures are carried out at border gates such as Hatay Cilvegözü, Kilis Öncüpınar, and Gaziantep Karkamış.
