Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is on an official visit to Qatar. This visit is an important step in strengthening relations between Turkey and Qatar.

Minister Fidan was received by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in the capital Doha. Regional issues and cooperation will be discussed in the meetings.

The discussions will focus on efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza and preparations for upcoming meetings regarding Palestine. The strategic partnership between Turkey and Qatar will be emphasized.

Minister Fidan is visiting Qatar for the third time this year. Previous visits have also addressed cooperation between the two countries and regional issues.
