Imamoğlu's Striking Statements from Prison Interview

Ekrem İmamoğlu made striking statements during his interview with Fatih Altaylı in prison. He emphasized the importance of the commission established in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
Imamoğlu stated, "The process described by the government as a Terror-Free Turkey deeply affects the fate of the country. The highest institution of the people's will is the TBMM," he said.
He also mentioned, "Our duty is to ensure that this commission works for true democracy and justice. We are not looking for sincerity, we expect seriousness," he added.

Imamoğlu shared his emotional experiences while trying to learn Kurdish in prison, stating, "I listened with moist eyes to my Kurdish mother's words without understanding them."
Finally, he concluded with, "Everyone should be at peace, CHP is the insurance of democracy."
