During a rally in Istanbul, Özel stated, "They still haven't established a framework protocol for 600,000 public workers," pledging to defend workers' rights.

Özgür Özel also addressed the issue of forest fires, criticizing the government for not standing by the people. He praised the efforts of citizens in fighting the fires.

Özel remarked, "Our forests have burned, our lungs have burned. But what is missing is a state that stands by the people," continuing his criticisms.
