Celebrations of the Conquest of Istanbul and New National Gardens

The 572nd anniversary of the conquest of Istanbul is being celebrated with the opening of new national gardens!
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change Murat Kurum inaugurated 4 new national gardens in Istanbul. These gardens were built to increase green spaces and strengthen social solidarity in Istanbul.

Minister Kurum emphasized their presence in every district and neighborhood of Istanbul, stating, "Our works will reach places we cannot." He highlighted that strengthening Istanbul is a national issue.
During the opening ceremony, the importance of keeping the spirit of the conquest of Istanbul alive was discussed. Minister Kurum stated, "The trees we plant will turn into great sycamores," drawing attention to environmental awareness.
The conquest of Istanbul is not just a victory but also a message of peace and brotherhood. Efforts will continue to preserve this spirit.
