Unprecedented Natural Event on Aegean Island in 70 Years

An unprecedented natural event occurred on the Aegean island of Leros, after 70 years.
Located 12 miles from Bodrum, Muğla, the island was hit by a hail and snowstorm. The entire island turned white, shocking the local residents. In just one hour, roads, gardens, and beaches were covered in a layer of hail and snow.

Elderly residents stated that such an event had not occurred in the last 70 years. It was reported that some agricultural products were damaged, and assessment work has begun.
