Imamoğlu and EYT Protest: Fight for Livelihood Rights

In Istanbul, members of the Federation of Those Affected by Retirement Age held a protest in front of Kadıköy Pier. The protest demanded a dignified and humane life for all citizens.
Federation President Arzu Lastikci highlighted the economic struggles faced by retirees, stating, "This country owes its retirees. This debt should be paid with justice, not charity."

The protest emphasized that retirees are unable to meet their basic needs and are struggling to survive. Slogans like "Either livelihood rights or election rights!" were chanted.
Retirees criticized the government's economic policies, stating, "We did not create this crisis, and we do not want to pay the bill." EYT members demand a fair wage system and the enactment of the adjustment law.

EYT members are calling for an increase in retirement pensions and the establishment of humane living conditions. They stated that their struggle will continue.
