Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is drawing attention with his bold statements. In his latest message, he addressed his detained colleagues, emphasizing unity and togetherness.

İmamoğlu stated, "To my honorable, patriotic colleagues who have been detained, imprisoned, and whose families have been harmed; the days when we will serve the entire country together are near." He expressed his determination and faith.

He also said, "I address a handful of miscreants who are the source of this evil; we are strong and standing tall against your actions that mean betrayal to our nation and state."

Moreover, he reiterated his belief in democracy by stating, "Sovereignty unconditionally belongs to the nation." İmamoğlu expressed that they will write history with this belief.

İmamoğlu concluded with, "This country will remind you of democracy. Together as a nation, we will bring abundance, prosperity, and justice to our country."
