Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu reacted strongly to the new investigations against the IBB. He questioned, 'What happened? Couldn't you fill your empty file?'

İmamoğlu stated, 'Today, many of my colleagues were detained in a dawn raid. While 16 million Istanbulites are trying to live with the anxiety of earthquakes, their concern is to plunder Istanbul's resources.'

İmamoğlu emphasized that the detained colleagues were working day and night to protect Istanbul. 'I will defend all my companions to the end in this process.' he said.

Finally, İmamoğlu called on party leaders and judiciary members to take responsibility. 'This nation is great.' he concluded.
