Heavy rains in the Black Sea region have led to warnings for floods and landslides. Residents of Rize, Trabzon, Artvin, and Giresun are advised to be cautious.

The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that the heavy rainfall will continue in the Eastern Black Sea. Citizens are urged to take precautions against potential floods, water inundation, and landslides.

AFAD issued an orange alert for Rize, Giresun, Trabzon, and Artvin. Emergency response teams are actively working in these areas affected by floods and landslides.

Ministers visited the flood-affected areas in Rize. They emphasized the importance of caution among residents as the rainfall continues.

In Rize, areas received up to 272 kilograms of rain. Authorities are advising residents to stay away from riverbanks.

In Giresun, landslides have trapped 8 people, who were rescued by AFAD teams. Citizens are encouraged to report any emergencies.
