A fire disaster is occurring in Sakarya! Teams are battling the flames.

The fire that started in Geyve district quickly spread due to the wind. Teams are intervening from the air and ground. They are working hard to prevent the flames from reaching residential areas.

Due to the fire's growth, Taşoluk neighborhood was evacuated. Firefighting teams are providing aerial support with 8 helicopters and 5 planes.

Three houses were completely burned due to the fire. Firefighting efforts are ongoing with the support of citizens. Teams are working day and night to bring the flames under control.

Sakarya Governor Rahmi Doğan stated that all resources have been mobilized against the fire. All teams are on alert to bring the fire under control.
