Public transport hours for citizens aged 61-64 in Ankara have been updated!

The EGO General Directorate announced that citizens aged 61-64 can benefit from EGO buses, private public buses, Metro, and ANKARAY lines for free between 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 12:00 AM. This application will be effective from July 25.

This change was made in response to requests from workers and students. The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Council unanimously approved this hour update.

Mansur Yavaş stated that this application will facilitate transportation for elderly citizens in Ankara. Making public transport services more accessible will enhance the quality of life in the city.

In Ankara, citizens aged 65 and over already benefit from all public transport vehicles free of charge at any time of the day. With this new regulation, citizens aged 61-64 will also enjoy similar rights.
