A fire disaster is happening in Aydın and Edirne!

Fires have broken out in Aydın's Söke district and Edirne's Keşan district. Air and ground interventions are underway. Teams are working hard to control the fires before they spread.

The fire in Aydın started in the Nalbantlar neighborhood around 1:30 PM. Citizens noticed the smoke and reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center. In response, numerous fire and forest teams were dispatched to the area.

The fire in Edirne occurred in Keşan, where flames quickly spread to the surrounding forest. Teams are intervening with four firefighting planes and helicopters.

To control the fires before they spread, teams are working hard. The governor of Aydın announced that they are intervening with 7 helicopters and 3 planes from the air, and 18 fire trucks and 115 personnel from the ground.
