Energy and Mining Regulations from AK Party Backstage

The AK Party has submitted a proposal containing new regulations for the energy and mining sectors. This proposal consists of 22 articles and includes significant changes.
AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler stated that the purpose of these regulations is to prevent victimization during sudden energy cuts. The conversion of olive groves into mining areas may spark debates.
The proposal also includes new regulations regarding mining operation licenses. It aims to close mining facilities that do not produce and to implement an investment guarantee system.
Güler expressed that they aim to reduce the license acquisition period from 48 months to 30 months. These regulations are expected to be discussed in the Energy Commission next week.
The super permit proposal in energy and mining will simplify license processes. The acceleration of the environmental impact assessment process is also planned to make evaluations more effective.
The AK Party's new package proposal also includes regulations regarding pension amounts and birth assistance, which will affect a wide range of society.
