The CHP's deputy mayor candidate in Ceyhan has been announced! Sevil Aydar Yıldız will take over for Kadir Aydar.

Anıl Tanburoğlu, the CHP Adana Provincial President, stated that the ongoing situation is a political intervention. Kadir Aydar is currently imprisoned in Silivri. Therefore, a deputy mayor election will be held.

Sevil Aydar Yıldız has been designated as the deputy mayor candidate by Caner Aydar, the CHP Ceyhan District President. Aydar emphasized that this position is temporary and that Kadir Aydar is innocent.

The 18 CHP council members stated that they will uphold Kadir Aydar's rights and the will of the Ceyhan people. The election process will begin on Tuesday at 14:00.
