A landslide disaster occurred in Samsun! A family was trapped in their vehicle while washing it due to soil slippage.

The incident took place in the Canik district of Samsun in the evening. Rocks that broke off the mountain fell onto the washing area of a gas station. Teams were mobilized to rescue the four-member family trapped inside the vehicle.

Samsun Governor Orhan Tavlı stated that one person was rescued with injuries, and efforts to rescue the other three are ongoing.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that rescue operations are continuing and that one person was rescued with consciousness. Teams are working hard to rescue the spouse and children.

Governor Tavlı said, "We will transport the injured to our hospitals as soon as possible. Our deepest condolences," as the incident was captured on security cameras, causing widespread panic.
