In Kocaeli, the temperature measured at 9 degrees has led to fog covering the eastern part of the city, affecting Kartepe and Izmit districts. This fog has created a haze in the western part of the city.

Those wishing to reach the summit of the Samanlı Mountains passed through the fog. From the high points, Kartepe and Izmit appeared to be enveloped in a 'sea of fog'.

Similar fog effects were observed in Istanbul. Drivers returning home on the last day of the holiday faced difficulties due to the fog, especially in high areas where visibility decreased.

In Istanbul, areas such as Çamlıca, Aydos, Beykoz, Maslak, Sarıyer, and Kağıthane were particularly affected by the fog. Visibility was also reduced around the Bosphorus.

The most affected areas included the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. Drone footage showcased the impact of the fog.
