Exciting news from Iceland!
Due to seismic activity in the volcanic craters of southwestern Iceland, the Blue Lagoon tourist area has been evacuated. Seismic activities began at 06:30 local time, leading to over 200 recorded earthquakes in the region.

Authorities warned that the seismic activities could lead to a volcanic eruption. A few hours after the evacuation, volcanic eruptions occurred near the town of Grindavik.
With large fissures opening in the area and lava cooling equipment being dispatched, the situation has become more serious. Reykjavik is reported to be under threat.
Residents have been advised to avoid being outdoors and to heed the warnings from authorities. This situation poses a risk to the safety of the Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland's natural wonders.
