A storm and heavy rain have hit Izmir and Aydın. Trees have fallen and roofs have been blown off!

In Aydın, the storm caused a tree to fall on the Aydın-Denizli highway. Traffic was temporarily halted, but the road was reopened after quick action by the teams.

In the Çeştepe neighborhood, a solar water tank from one building fell onto the roof of an adjacent building, causing it to enter the bathroom.

In Çeşme, Izmir, the rain and storm negatively affected life. Water puddles formed on some streets, and hail was reported.

Teams are continuing their work regarding fallen trees and blown roofs. The Governor of Aydın stated that there were no injuries reported in the incidents.

Such weather events require citizens to be cautious. Especially during storms and heavy rains, it is important to be careful outdoors.
