The infrastructure renewal works initiated in Kahramanmaraş have turned into a new crisis for earthquake victims. Despite the passage of 6 months, truck drivers and heavy machinery operators have not received their wages.

The main contractor exceeded legal limits when subcontracting the work. This situation has led to the victimization of workers.

CHP Kahramanmaraş Provincial Chairman Ünal Ateş stated that the earthquake victims were left alone. He emphasized the need to protect the rights of workers.

Ateş expressed that the main contractor is avoiding responsibility, stating that this situation is unacceptable. He called for the rights of workers to be delivered as soon as possible.
