New Developments in the Ezgi Apartment Case: Arrests Made

Significant developments are occurring in the Ezgi Apartment case!
In Kahramanmaraş, following the earthquakes on February 6, 2023, which resulted in the loss of 35 lives, two suspects accused of cutting columns in the Ezgi Apartment have been arrested. These suspects, Sami Kervancıoğlu and Mustafa Pekel, were allegedly involved in renovations that led to the building's collapse.
According to the investigations led by the Kahramanmaraş chief prosecutor's office, the suspects were apprehended in Ankara's Etimesgut district. The indictment seeks penalties ranging from 700 years and four months to 876 years and six months in prison for the accused.
In this case, various allegations are also made against the contractor of the apartment and other public officials. A series of developments are being closely monitored by the public during this process.
