A major operation was conducted against a theft gang based in Ankara, resulting in the arrest of 10 suspects. The police had been tracking the gang for three months, focusing on construction sites and businesses.

The operation took place simultaneously in Adana, Kahramanmaraş, and Gaziantep. During the searches at 19 different addresses, unlicensed shotguns and ammunition were seized.

It was found that the suspects conducted reconnaissance at the addresses they intended to rob and wore ski masks to avoid recognition. The gang caused a total damage of 21 million lira.

Of the 10 suspects sent to court, 9 were arrested. This operation once again highlights the determination of security forces in the fight against crime.
