The pension increase rate is eagerly awaited!

Millions of retirees in Turkey are eagerly waiting to learn the increase rate for their pensions, which will be announced with the inflation data on July 3. The inflation rate announced by TUIK for June will determine the increase rate for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees.

The plan for the Parliament to go on vacation on July 1 caused great panic among retirees. However, the Grand National Assembly extended its vacation until July 31, and regulations regarding retirees are expected to be made.

The minimum pension is currently set at 14,469 TL. Predictions suggest that retirees may receive a 16% inflation difference in July, potentially raising the minimum pension to 16,784 TL.

The increase rate for pensions will be finalized with the inflation data announced on July 3. Economists believe that this increase will improve the living standards of retirees.
