CHP Chairman Özgür Özel is making significant contacts in Europe. He will attend meetings in Brussels and Berlin.

Özel will participate in the EU Council Meeting in Brussels at the invitation of the European Socialist Party. Topics such as the latest developments in the Middle East and the Iran-Israel War will be discussed.

On June 27, Özel will attend the SPD congress in Berlin. These contacts are of great importance for Turkey's relations with the EU.

Özel stated that they will take a firm stance for Turkey's EU membership. The CHP's vision is based on strengthening democracy and implementing the Copenhagen criteria.
