In Kocaeli, a person was fined for dumping cucumbers on vacant land, leading to significant penalties.

Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan announced that investigations were initiated following this incident. Approximately 250-300 kilograms of spoiled cucumbers were found to have been dumped.

As a result, an administrative fine ranging from 1.4 million TL to 17.2 million TL will be imposed on the individual involved. The Ministry of Trade stated that it will combat such irresponsible behaviors decisively.

The ministry emphasized that it will meticulously identify individuals and businesses that violate regulations in fruit and vegetable trade. Such actions threaten market balance.
