Weather changes from the Aegean Sea and the Balkans are having a significant impact on Turkey.

The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that a hot air wave from Africa will be followed by a cold air system from the Balkans. This will cause temperatures to drop from 34 degrees to 24-25 degrees.

In particular, a drop of 10 degrees is expected in Istanbul and surrounding areas. Local showers are also anticipated over the weekend.

Meteorology experts indicate that Turkey will experience winter weather again next week, highlighting the effects of climate change.
