Exciting changes are coming to public transportation in Ankara!

Starting from July 1, 2025, the first transfer between metro and bus will be free. This new regulation will make transportation costs lower and ease daily life for citizens.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş stated that this change will reduce transportation costs for citizens. Currently, the transfer fee for full passengers is 12.5 TL, but with this new regulation, the first transfer will be free.

This regulation will allow those commuting to work and school to pay lower fares. The innovation in transportation will make public transport more accessible in Ankara.

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that free transportation services will continue during holiday periods. This will make citizens' travels more comfortable.
