The weather in Istanbul is changing! After sunny days, rain is on the way.

According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected in Istanbul this weekend. Temperatures will drop below seasonal norms. The temperature will decrease from 28 degrees on Friday to around 25 degrees on Sunday.

On Saturday, rain will be effective in the Western Mediterranean and Eastern Black Sea regions. Heavy rainfall is expected particularly in Trabzon and Rize. Citizens are advised to take precautions due to these conditions.

Rain is expected in Istanbul on Sunday. As temperatures drop, winds are also expected to strengthen. Therefore, it is recommended to be cautious when going outside.
