Fire Panic in Istanbul Student Dormitory

A fire panic occurred in a girls' student dormitory in Istanbul Avcılar. The fire was caused by electrical wiring.
The incident took place in a four-story girls' dormitory affiliated with the Credit and Dormitories Institution on Seyhun Street in the University neighborhood. Smoke spread throughout the building due to the fire.
Seeing the smoke, students quickly evacuated the building, and police, firefighters, and emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene after a call to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Firefighters quickly intervened to extinguish the fire and evacuated the smoke from the building. One student affected by the smoke was treated in an ambulance.
An investigation has been launched regarding the fire. It was emphasized that necessary precautions should be taken for the safety of the students.
