The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued storm and downpour warnings. What will the weather be like today and tomorrow?

It is expected that the general weather will be partly and very cloudy across the country. Intermittent showers are expected in the Aegean and Mediterranean inland areas, as well as in the northeastern parts of Eastern Anatolia. Local heavy rainfall is anticipated especially in Denizli, Izmir, and Aydın.

Strong winds are expected to blow from the north and northeast in Marmara. The air temperatures are predicted to be around seasonal norms, but in the northern and inner regions, temperatures may be below normal.

The Istanbul Governorate has issued a storm warning, urging citizens to be cautious. The storm is expected to lose its intensity starting Tuesday night.

Throughout the week, thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected across much of the country. Rainfall is expected to decrease in the western regions on Saturday, but downpours will return on Sunday.
