Allegations of bribery against the MHP deputy have caused a stir in the political arena. Events in Gaziantep have deepened with the statements of CHP council members.

Following a complaint by AKP Şehitkamil district chairman İsmail Güler, the Gaziantep Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation. CHP council members Ersin Atar and Songül Yılmaz highlighted irregularities in the municipality in their statements.

Ersin Atar stated that a bill of 615,000 TL was issued for a 15 July event that was never actually held. Additionally, allegations of a 50,000 dollar bribe for the GES project are also on the agenda.

These events shed light on the pressures faced by MHP deputies and other political figures. Such incidents in the political arena undermine public trust.
