Turkey to Supply 2 Billion Cubic Meters of Natural Gas to Syria!

Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar announced an important energy project for Syria. Turkey will supply 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Syria!
Minister Bayraktar stated in a television program that 6 million cubic meters of natural gas will be sent to Aleppo daily. This gas will be used for electricity production in Aleppo's plants.
The flow is planned to start within three months. Infrastructure works for the gas pipeline on the Syrian side are progressing rapidly. Turkey's existing gas pipeline extends to Kilis.
Minister Bayraktar also mentioned ongoing efforts to supply electricity to Syria. Currently, approximately 200 megawatts of electricity is being supplied between Turkey and Aleppo.
This capacity is expected to increase to 700-800 megawatts in the coming months. Turkey's contributions are crucial for meeting Syria's energy needs.
Stating that Syria's infrastructure has been severely damaged after 13 years of war, Bayraktar emphasized the need to utilize Syria's own resources for economic recovery alongside Turkey's energy exports.
