US Army at the Mexico Border with Trump's New Powers

The US Army is patrolling the Mexico border with new powers granted by Trump. This new measure aims to enhance security.
Approximately 110,000 acres at the Mexico border have been declared a 'National Defense Area'. This allows soldiers to temporarily detain illegal immigrants.

Major General Jeremy Winters emphasized that they have equipped border patrols with new capabilities through advanced technologies. He stated that illegal crossings have decreased by 95% compared to last year.

Winters noted that the number of soldiers in their responsibility areas has reached 4,400, which he considers sufficient. He emphasized that the goal is to achieve complete control.
