The civil war that began in Syria in 2011 has brought the hospitality of Syrians in Turkey to its 14th year. According to official figures, 2.9 million Syrians live in Turkey.

With the end of the war, the return of Syrians has come to the forefront. However, only 133,000 have been able to return to their country. In Turkey, 2 million refugee babies have been born.

Turhan Çömez, the Vice President of the IYI Party Group, stated that if returns are facilitated, the burden on the health system would decrease. He emphasized the need to prevent demographic disruption.
