Meteorology General Directorate has issued important weather warnings for the weekend. Snow and rain are on the way!

A generally cloudy and rainy weather is expected across the country. Rainfall will be particularly effective in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, and Central Anatolia regions. There is also a possibility of snow in the highlands of the Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia.

On Saturday, especially in the Black Sea, Central Anatolia, and Eastern Anatolia, rain showers will continue, while local showers are expected in the Mediterranean and Aegean regions. Temperatures may drop with the cool air coming from the northwest.

On Sunday, rainfall will largely continue, but the weather may clear up in the western regions. Rain showers will still be effective in the inner and eastern regions, and with the drop in temperatures, especially in the morning and evening hours, a noticeable chill may be felt.

At the beginning of the week, there is a possibility of mixed rain and light snow in the highlands of Eastern Anatolia. Overall, the weather will be cool and rainy throughout the week.
