President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent a condolences message to the family of martyr Uğur Gölçek, who was killed in Istanbul Bağcılar.

Gölçek was seriously injured during an armed attack while performing a routine identity check and later died in the hospital. Erdoğan expressed his support to the family after this tragic incident.

The incident occurred in Yüzyıl Mahallesi. The injured guard was taken to the hospital but unfortunately could not be saved despite all efforts.

President Erdoğan emphasized the need for security forces to be more vigilant to prevent such incidents. We will always support the families of our martyrs.
