President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan plans to meet with Putin and Trump this week. A significant diplomatic traffic is expected in Istanbul.

After Friday prayers, Erdoğan made statements to the press, honoring the heroes fighting against forest fires and emphasizing Turkey's determination in this matter.

Erdoğan stated, "All our heroic firefighters did everything they could" regarding the forest fires.

He also highlighted the importance of the Russia-Ukraine peace talks to be hosted by Turkey and mentioned that these discussions could take place in Istanbul.

President Erdoğan said, "We will strive to bring these leaders together by possibly meeting with Putin and Trump this week."
