The High-Level Economic Dialogue meeting between Turkey and the EU has started in Brussels!

Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Simsek stated that the meeting took place in a very constructive atmosphere. In this meeting, held after 6 years, topics such as enhancing economic relations and increasing cooperation were discussed.

The modernization of the Customs Union and visa facilitation were also on the agenda. Simsek emphasized that Turkey is ready for stronger cooperation with Europe.

Minister Simsek stated, "We are ready for a stronger and strategic partnership with the EU." He expressed that this meeting is an important step to deepen economic cooperation between Turkey and the EU.

It was decided that the next phase of the meeting will be held in Turkey. This presents a significant opportunity for the revival of Turkey-EU relations.
