Özlem Vural Gürzel Elected as Beykoz Deputy Mayor

Özlem Vural Gürzel has been elected as the Deputy Mayor of Beykoz!
Following the arrest of Alaattin Köseler, the Beykoz Municipal Council convened to elect a new deputy mayor. Özlem Vural Gürzel, as the CHP candidate, received 18 votes to become the deputy mayor.

During the election process, CHP's candidate Özlem Vural Gürzel received 18 votes in the first two rounds, while the candidate from the People's Alliance, Sadullah Hasanoğlu, received 13 votes. The third round confirmed Gürzel's election with a simple majority.
Gürzel expressed her gratitude to the council members and stated that they would continue to provide services in Beykoz. She also emphasized that they would work with a democratic governance approach.
