Traffic Regulations for New Year Celebrations in Ankara

In Ankara, some roads will be closed for New Year celebrations. The Police Department announced the roads that will be closed starting from 18:00 on December 31, 2025.

The section of Atatürk Boulevard between Sıhhiye Orduevi and Akay Junction, as well as the entire GMK Boulevard, will be closed to traffic. This is part of the measures taken to ensure the celebrations are conducted safely.

The Police Department also stated that if necessary, Oğuzhan Asiltürk Street and Meşrutiyet Street may also be closed. Citizens are advised to use alternative routes.
