In Aydın's Sultanhisar district, a tragic incident occurred where two brothers drowned in an irrigation pool, leading to a court decision.

The Nazilli 1st Heavy Penal Court sentenced the owner of the irrigation pool to 5 years in prison for "causing the death of multiple persons by negligence." The incident occurred on August 29, 2024, resulting in the loss of two brothers' lives.

After the incident, the owner E.S. expressed his sorrow over the event. However, the court took into account the family's request for the harshest punishment.
