CHP Youth Branch Protests Minimum Wage

The CHP Kadıköy Youth Branch gathered to protest the inadequacy of the minimum wage. Participants emphasized that the minimum wage is below the hunger line.
Erdem Kara, the President of CHP Istanbul Youth Branch, stated that the minimum wage condemns workers to poverty. He expressed that this situation is not only a management failure but also a political crisis.
Emre Tiftik, the Deputy Chairman of the Youth Branch, drew attention to the effects of the minimum wage on young people. He argued that Turkey is being turned into a country where labor is cheap and living is expensive.
Erdener Doğan Işık, the President of Kadıköy Youth Branch, highlighted child labor due to poverty. He emphasized that they will continue to fight against the impoverishment of youth and workers.
Finally, Caner Sarıtaş, the District Chairman of Kadıköy, stated that the announced minimum wage is a poverty imposed on millions of workers and that they will continue to fight until this right is achieved.
