During the congress, Özlem Erkan's lawyer, Cevahir Kılıç, attempted to enter the hall with court officials. Tensions flared as CHP members reminded them of the YSK decision.

The female lawyer loudly demanded disciplinary imprisonment, further escalating the tension in the congress.

Ultimately, the YSK decided that the congress could continue, forcing the court officials to leave the hall. A CHP lawyer stated that law and democracy would prevail.
