Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş responded to the increasing allegations of operations. He stated, 'There is no reason for an operation in Ankara,' and mentioned the possibility of facing slander.

Yavaş stated, 'There is no investigation against me; we may only face slander.' He emphasized that it is extremely wrong to remove elected officials from their positions.

Yavaş expressed, 'We want to compete politically with whoever is on the other side. It is extremely wrong to attempt to remove elected individuals from their positions.'

He also stated, 'We will do everything we can to change this government,' expressing his confidence in the common sense of the Turkish people.

Yavaş emphasized the need for justice to be applied equally to everyone and for a system based on the rule of law to be established.
