President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli at the Presidential Complex. This important meeting was held behind closed doors.

The main agenda of the meeting was the process of a Terror-Free Turkey. The two leaders discussed the steps to be taken in this process and evaluated the current situation.

Erdoğan last met with Bahçeli on May 6, where he expressed his well wishes after Bahçeli's health issues.

Bahçeli has recently called for national unity and proposed the establishment of a commission involving all parties, which was positively received by the DEM Party.

President Erdoğan expressed hope for positive developments in this process and stated that he expects good news in the coming days.
