Ekrem İmamoğlu is taking significant steps in the fight against environmental pollution. Fethiye Municipality has installed CCTV cameras in various locations to prevent environmental pollution.

These cameras detect citizens who come to the trash containers but instead of throwing their trash inside, they litter the area. The footage clearly shows some individuals leaving their trash outside the containers.

Mayor Alim Karaca delivered a strong message regarding environmental sensitivity. He stated, "We are detecting those who randomly throw trash outside the containers with the CCTV cameras we have deployed in our district and initiating legal action. It is our duty to protect our paradise, Fethiye. No one has the right to pollute this place."
