CHP bus driver Gökhan Gülyurt was detained for not complying with the police's stop order. The court sentenced him to house arrest.

This incident occurred on April 23, 2025. The CHP intended to hold a march from the 1st Assembly to Anıtkabir, but the Ankara Governorship did not permit this march.

After being detained, Gülyurt was brought to court. The duty magistrate applied a restriction preventing him from leaving his home.

CHP Vice President Burhanettin Bulut criticized this situation on social media, stating, "They have completely lost their minds."

Following this incident, a request for the arrest of the CHP bus driver was made. However, the court decided to release him under house arrest.
