Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş issued a critical warning regarding the upcoming rains. According to meteorological data, a strong rain cell is expected to enter the city within the next 30 minutes.

Yavaş stated on his social media account, "Strong winds, storms, hail, and heavy rain transitions are expected. Citizens should be cautious, especially during the rush hour."

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality teams are on alert during this period of expected rainfall. Yavaş emphasized the importance of being cautious against risks such as flash floods, water accumulation, lightning, and hail.

The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that local heavy rains are expected in the northern and eastern parts of Ankara. Therefore, Yavaş urged citizens to take precautions and stay safe.

Yavaş concluded, "All our teams are on the ground, ready for action. Please be careful and avoid going out unless necessary."
