İmamoğlu emphasized that they will respond to the traps and lies, saying, 'The nation will give the necessary answer to the plots and lies.'

İmamoğlu called for support on his social media account, stating, 'This nation is great.' Thousands of citizens gathered in Saraçhane Square to support İmamoğlu.

In his first statement upon being detained, İmamoğlu said, 'I entrust myself to the nation.' He expressed the need for public support during this process.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation against İmamoğlu and 99 others on various charges. İmamoğlu believes that justice will prevail in this process.
